Waheeda Brandon

Waheeda Brandon is a well-rounded Information Technology professional with over 15 years of experience.  That experience includes product management, analysis, and quality assurance, as well as desktop and network support.  

In 2022, Waheeda joined the Product Management team at Member Driven Technologies.  MDT is a Credit Union Service Organization (CUSO) that strives to deliver outstanding quality service and secure technology solutions. This position allows Waheeda to combine her passion for learning with her desire to exceed expectations.  Since joining the team, she has led several product launches, including the implementation of a subscription-based SaaS suite of products which led to increased revenue of over $50,000 within the first few weeks of release.  

Waheeda understands what it takes to be a member of a winning team.  Member Driven Technologies is the Tech CUSO of the Year for 2023, as well as one of American Banker’s “Best FinTechs to Work For”.  Before joining MDT in 2016, Waheeda worked for a Michigan-based accounting firm that has been on the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For list twenty-five years consecutively. She was a member of the Technology Services team which gained notoriety by winning multiple industry and innovation awards.

Waheeda abides by the rule “To whom much is given, much is required”. With that in mind, she is very passionate about volunteering.  Her causes include the American Cancer Society, American Red Cross, and Habitat for Humanity to name a few.  Waheeda is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, where she has held assorted leadership responsibilities.  

Waheeda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology as well as a Master’s Degree in Information Systems Management from the University of Phoenix. She is an avid reader, enthusiastic traveler, and a proud member of Slytherin House. Waheeda is a native Detroiter currently residing in Houston, TX.
